How this works, sources, and questions

How it works

Alma gives one point for each correct answer across ten questions. Each answer has an explanation and a source link. The five score bands describe these ten questions only; they are not a validated measure of nutrition knowledge, intelligence or health.

Evidence

The questions cover food facts and general guidance that Alma already uses. The cited sources explain the guidance and its limits. The score does not assess what you eat or set personal nutrition targets.

Common questions

What does the score mean?

The score counts how many of these ten questions you answered correctly. Alma uses five encouraging labels for the results. These are editorial bands, with no clinical or intelligence ranking.

Can Alma tell what I should eat from these answers?

These answers check food knowledge. They do not describe your eating habits or health. Personal nutrition needs depend on your circumstances; a clinician or registered dietitian can help with medical conditions.

Who is the guidance for?

The questions use general adult guidance. For personal targets during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for children and teenagers, or with an eating disorder history or a medical condition, speak with a clinician or registered dietitian.

Do I need an account?

You can answer every question and read every explanation without an account. Your answers stay in this page while it is open and are not included in quiz events.
